there's a restaurant in frostreign that has a bit of everything plus it has really cool views of all the snow and ice i think that would be nice to start
[ JJ dressed comfortably - black slacks and a red tee. Plus he's also got a leather jacket over top of it all. Ever the overly excited about everything guy - he arrives way too early and ends up waiting for Kagami to get there. That's okay. They can meet outside and walk in together and that would be nice. He's actually pretty excited.
He hasn't really gone on that many dates, and he genuinely enjoys Kagami's company. He looks confident and comfortable while he waits, but he'll waive when he spots the other. ]
[The place was in one of the Winter sections, but it didn't particularly bother Kagami given his affinity for fire now. But, he still wore something nice because he wasn't sure what kind of restaurant it was.
[ He smiles brightly, moving to open the door as Kagami approaches, so they can both step inside. The restaurant itself is fairly cozy, nothing too fancy. Dark colors inside with about half of the tables currently filled up. It's definitely the perfect sort of place for a lunch date. The menu itself has a bit of variety - salads, sandwiches, a few different pastas, fish, and also a variety of nice breakfast items. JJ found this place because it was a breakfast and lunch style place, and as an early bird, he ended up here once in awhile. ]

[ He doesn't even think about it when he says it. ]
[The cozy atmosphere is pretty nice and it makes sense given the cold climate of the outside. When he heard the compliment, he started for a moment and then looked away. His cheeks were a little pink.]

[Honestly, after being on a weird planet that promoted a lot of sex and then a magical place like Avalon and now this, you'd think Kagami would be used to this sort of thing. But, aside from a couple of the boys, he had been alone in his world adventures. Just like he was now. So, going on an actual date for once was a bit of a foreign concept now. It was nice, though.]
[ JJ notes the fluster and has to resist the temptation to tease him further. He'll be gentle, though. It's a first date, after all. He accepts the compliment easily: ]

[ He waits to answer the question about what's good until after they're set down at a table with menus. JJ is not a picky eater by any stretch of the imagination. He's traveled the world and tried a lot of things. So he thinks everything he's tried here is good. That's not very helpful though, either. ]
Well, I've only been here a couple times and it was usually breakfast... so I had eggs benedict with salmon. The club sandwich also looks good when I've seen others have it. I like to eat lunch at your place or make my own so it's pretty new, too.
[ He's a little bashful knowing he wasn't a lot of help. ]
[Kagami will eat just about anything, if he were honest. But if JJ had been here already, he may as well get the low down on which would be good to choose first. They had other dates to try the other foods on the menu.]

[Kagami couldn't help the look of pride on his face, knowing that JJ really did like the diner to eat lunch there all the time. But club sandwiches weren't on the menu there so it was definitely different for the both of them.
He nodded and decided to go with the one that looked pretty loaded too.]
[ A laugh. He doesn't go on a lot of dates for obvious reasons, especially not first ones. But he legitimately likes Kagami and is trying to make sure that the other is comfortable and having a good time, too. He gets a club sandwich for himself, as well. He hasn't had a chance to try it here yet, and figures that this is the perfect time to do it. ]
I think I'll go with...a side of potato chips. I wonder if they make them fresh.
